All day I was nervous that it would die on me and I wouldn’t be able to use Google Maps to get to wherever my next destination was. One night, I made the mistake of forgetting to charge my device so, that morning, when I got ready to head out, I realized my battery life was only on 31%. (you know, to beat the crowds) and wouldn’t return until 8, 9, or sometimes later that night, and the Solis still had some juice left. There were days when I’d leave the house at 7 a.m. Unlike its predecessor with only 8 hours of battery life, the Solis now lasts up to 16 hours. One of the best improved features of the Solis, is the battery life. It usually maintained 4G LTE speed, and a quick “turn it off, and turn it back on” was an easy remedy. Sometimes I noticed the service would drop to 3G and/or the service would disconnect however, this was not often. You can also purchase more data and day passes all through the app. Speaking of the Skyroam app, you can get status updates, such as if you’re connected, how much data you’ve used, and how much battery life you have left.

Simply download the Skyroam app, which walks you through the registration process, make sure your Solis device is powered on, tap “Activate a Day Pass” within the app, and wham bam thank you ma’am, unlimited Wifi for 24 hours.
